About Tanomo - Monte Santo de Minas
The farm covers 1,589 hectares. One-third of this area is used for coffee processing and milling, while the rest is split equally between coffee trees and a forest reserve. It's very important for the farm and the coffee industry to protect the area's natural features and ecosystem, and Mió shows how this can be done.
They also work hard to improve water quality using many springs on the estate. The Monte Santo de Minas region is ideal for coffee growing and is now considered one of the best in Brazil.
Dedicating equal land to coffee and the native forest helps keep the area's natural features. The farm is between Southern Minas Gerais and the High Mogiana region. These two different terrains give Mió's coffee a mix of citrus acidity and a full, sweet body.
